Backup destinations

Where backups can go

Every project can keep automatic backups on its own server (the native destination). You can also add backup destinations if you want extra copies somewhere else.

  • This server (native) — backups stay on the project’s VPS. No extra destination is required.
  • Google Drive or OneDrive — copies in cloud storage you already use.
  • Another computer — copies over SSH to a second host.

Open the project → Settings → Backups to turn on automatic backups and add destinations.

Automatic backups

Choose how often to run them and how many copies to keep. If you do not add a destination, copies stay on the project server. If you add one, each run also sends a copy there.

Remote destinations (Drive, OneDrive, another computer) need Studio or a higher plan. Native backups on the project server are available on every plan.
