Subscriptions: request, upgrade, and downgrade

What a subscription is

A Hamdek.sh subscription is a numbered plan, for example WH-2026-000001. It belongs to the project owner (the company), not to every teammate.

  • Each project can attach to one subscription number.
  • You can own more than one number if you need separate allocations.
  • Collaborators invited to a project do not need their own paid plan. They use the owner’s subscription.
  • You can still create one Free project without a number.

Plans: Free ($0, 1 project), Solo ($12/mo, 3 projects), Studio ($29/mo, 15 projects, project AI agent), Agency ($99/mo, 60 projects, project AI agent). Yearly billing is 20% off.

How to request a plan

  1. Open the account menu → SettingsBilling.
  2. If you are leaving Free, fill in Company first (company name is required).
  3. Choose the plan and monthly or yearly billing.
  4. Optionally attach the request to an existing number (upgrade/downgrade) or leave it as a new subscription.
  5. Submit. We review after payment. You will get a notification when it is approved.

Billing is handled manually. Questions: support@hamdek.com.

Attach a project to a number

On the project → SettingsPlan, pick the subscription that should pay for that project. New projects can also pick a number in the create wizard.

Upgrades

An upgrade (for example Solo → Studio) starts as soon as we approve. Extra projects, staging, seats, and backups from the new plan become available immediately.

Downgrades

A downgrade does not start today. You keep the current plan until that period ends. Then the smaller plan takes over.

Before the switch date, usage must fit the smaller plan. If it does not, you will need to:

  • Delete extra projects, or
  • Remove extra staging environments, or
  • Remove extra collaborators.

If you do not, those extra items can be blocked when the smaller plan starts.

If a subscription expires

  • 15-day grace: projects keep running. Pay or update the subscription before the grace date.
  • After grace: projects on that number are blocked. You can still open the overview and delete staging or the whole project. You cannot deploy or use SSH until the subscription is active again.

Blocked (billing) is not the same as Locked (the server SSH connection failed). Locked is a server issue; blocked is a subscription issue.

Project AI agent

Studio and Agency include an AI assistant on the project page. It can query that project’s database (read-only), inspect logs, and commit GitHub changes after you confirm. Add the project’s API key under Project → Settings → AI. See Project AI agent.
