Where to manage the team

Open a project → Team tab. Only OWNER or ADMIN can invite, change roles, or remove members.

Invite flow

1. The person must sign into WayHost with GitHub at least once (and be approved if the platform requires it). There is no email-only invite.
2. On Team, search by GitHub username / collaborator.
3. Choose a role: ADMIN, DEVELOPER, or VIEWER.
4. Click Add member.

You cannot assign OWNER via invite — the project creator remains the owner.

Roles

• VIEWER — Open the project and read status.
• DEVELOPER — Deploy/sync, backups, restore, import/export, shell, Connect, restart.
• ADMIN — Everything DEVELOPER can, plus team, staging, domains, settings, auto-backup destinations, rebuild, merge.
• OWNER — Full control including project deletion / ownership-level actions.

Platform super admin (Admin panel) is separate from project OWNER.

Pitfalls

• “User not found on WayHost” — they have not signed in yet.
• Settings tab is hidden or blocked for non-admins.
